Lathe

Lathes are the most widely used basic metal cutting equipment in mechanical processing. They perform turning operations such as external turning, internal boring, facing, threading, arc machining and grooving on rotary workpieces including shafts, discs and sleeves. They serve general machinery, auto parts, hardware, molds and hydraulic component industries, and are categorized into standard CNC lathes, slant-bed CNC lathes, turret lathes and swiss-type lathes. A complete lathe consists of machine base, spindle unit, X/Z servo feed axes, tool post / turret, chuck, cooling system, chip removal mechanism and CNC system.

MT’s drive solution supports rotary motors, DD motors and linear motors. It features gantry synchronization with 62.5 μs internal control cycle and 125 μs communication refresh cycle, and a speed loop bandwidth of 3.8 kHz. Equipped with direct motor brake drive, short-circuit protection and anti-misoperation functions, it supports full closed-loop control. Safety emergency stops are interlocked across the entire machine.

Certified to CE and RoHS and manufactured under ISO9001 quality system, the dynamic braking function guarantees safe shutdown when power failure or faults occur during high-speed running.
