Spring Forming Machine

Spring making machines are dedicated cold-forming equipment. Through coordinated motion of multiple axes, they bend, wind and cut metal wires to produce compression springs, tension springs, torsion springs, special-shaped springs, wire clips and other elastic components. They are widely used in automotive, home appliances, hardware, toys, medical devices and rail transit sectors, including 2-axis, 3-axis, 8-axis, 10-axis and multi-axis universal models. Main components include wire pay-off stand, wire straightening unit, servo wire feeder, cam drive unit, forming tool arms, cutting mechanism, material collection device and central control system.

MT’s drive solution is compatible with rotary motors, DD motors and linear motors. It provides gantry synchronization with 62.5 μs internal control cycle, 125 μs communication refresh cycle and 3.8 kHz speed loop bandwidth. It has direct motor brake drive, short-circuit and anti-misoperation protection, and supports full closed-loop control. The machine is equipped with interlocked emergency stop and single-point stop functions.

Compliant with CE, RoHS and ISO9001 standards, the dynamic braking system effectively stops the machine safely in case of power cut or abnormal operation at high speeds.
