Gravure Printing Machine

Gravure printing machines are core equipment for flexible packaging production. Adopting the gravure printing process, they transfer ink from the cells of the printing cylinder to replicate graphics and texts, and are widely used for packaging of food, daily chemicals and pharmaceuticals.

The key technical challenges lie in high-speed register accuracy and tension stability. Register accuracy directly determines the yield rate of multi-color printing. Tension fluctuation will cause film stretching and deformation, further leading to register deviation and blurry patterns. Motong’s control solution adopts a full-servo electronic shaft system to replace traditional mechanical long-shaft transmission, enabling independent servo drive for each printing unit. Integrated with closed-loop tension control algorithms, it detects web tension in real time and dynamically adjusts servo output. Equipped with color mark detection and register closed-loop algorithms, it realizes high-speed dynamic register compensation. Process parameters can be saved and recalled with one click.
