Rotary Cutter Machine

Rotary cutter machines are high-speed fixed-length cutting equipment after the folding process. They cut continuous paper stacks into standard single-pack lengths, widely applied in the production of facial tissue, pocket tissue, kitchen towel and similar products. The machine is composed of feeding conveyor, deviation correction & positioning unit, rotary cutter frame, servo traction unit and discharging & stacking unit. Its core design features a rotary cutter frame and servo fixed-length control, delivering smooth cuts without burrs or indentations.

MT’s solution is built on electronic cam and synchronous follow-up technology. The main cutter shaft and traction servo operate in strict synchronization to eliminate uneven length and diagonal cutting at high running speeds. Multiple speed curves ensure smooth start-stop operation with low impact and noise. Operators can switch cutting lengths and ply counts with one click without mechanical adjustment, suitable for cutting 2 to 8 plies of paper, cotton soft towels and wet wipes.
