Winding Machine
Winding machines are vital for cell formation. They wind coated electrodes and separators into complete cells, and are widely used to produce cylindrical and prismatic lithium batteries.
Key challenges are electrode alignment accuracy, tension stability and steady winding speed. Tension fluctuation may cause internal wrinkles and impair battery performance. The machine reaches a maximum output of 45 PPM, with winding alignment within ±0.2 mm and electrode cutting position accuracy of ±0.3 mm.
Our full-servo driven winding shafts and tension control units implement closed-loop regulation for electrodes and separators, limiting tension fluctuation to within ±3%. Built-in electrode alignment algorithms work with CCD vision systems to detect positional deviation and adjust servo motion dynamically for superior alignment. Parameters for different cell specifications can be switched with one click, greatly shortening product changeover time.
